What We Do
From grassroots awareness to specialized treatment support — every PGF initiative is designed with one family in mind: yours.
Core Activities
On-the-ground programs that create lasting change for epilepsy families and communities.
Awareness Programs
Community outreach sessions that educate the public on epilepsy, seizure first aid, and the importance of early diagnosis — breaking stigma one conversation at a time.
Health Camps
Free health camps where families get access to neurological guidance, medication reviews, and information on treatment options — especially in underserved communities.
School Sensitization
Training teachers and school staff to recognize seizures, respond calmly, and create an inclusive environment where children with epilepsy can learn without fear.
Parent Meetups
Periodic in-person gatherings where families come together, share their journeys, hear from medical experts, and build lasting connections with those who truly understand.
Counseling Support
Connecting families with mental health professionals who specialize in chronic childhood illness — because the emotional weight of epilepsy affects everyone in the family.
Treatment Support Initiatives
When medication alone isn't enough, families deserve to know what other pathways exist — and have support walking them.
Ketogenic Diet Guidance
The Keto Diet is a clinically proven therapy for drug-resistant epilepsy in children. PGF provides families with guidance, resources, and peer support from parents who have navigated this path.
CBD Therapy Awareness
Emerging evidence supports cannabidiol (CBD) as a treatment for certain epilepsy syndromes. We share responsible, evidence-based information on this evolving treatment option, including its regulatory status in India.
Epilepsy Surgery Support
For children with drug-resistant epilepsy, surgery can be life-changing — but it is inaccessible to many families due to cost. PGF works with CSR partners to create a financial support pathway for surgery.
